title: "Non-subscriptions"
description: "Learn how to manage non-subscription products in Adapty and track user purchases efficiently."
---

The Non-subscriptions chart counts in-app purchases that aren't auto-renewing subscriptions: consumables, non-consumables, and non-renewing subscriptions. It excludes renewals.

:::note
"Non-subscriptions" is broader than "one-time purchases" — consumables and non-renewing subscriptions can each be purchased more than once.
:::

## Calculation

Each non-subscription in-app purchase falls into one of three types:

- **Consumables**: items users can purchase multiple times, such as fish food in a fishing app or extra in-game currency.
- **Non-consumables**: items users purchase once and use forever, such as a race track in a game app or an ad-free version.
- **Non-renewing subscriptions**: subscriptions that expire after a set period and don't renew automatically, such as a one-year access to a content catalog. The content can be static, but the subscription doesn't renew once it expires.

:::note
This chart counts only purchase events and does not subtract refunded purchases. If you have non-subscription products that are frequently refunded, the displayed count will be higher than the actual number of purchases that generated revenue.
